Whether this be assets ready to download, or new users registering for access, the notification centre provides the user with in site updates, removing the need for the user to rely on their email inbox and allowing users to be more responsive.

A notification icon can be seen in the top right of the screen. As notifications are added they will be represented by a number in the circle. This circle will disappear if the user has no new notifications. From the notification centre the user will be able to view all notifications.
Clicking on the notification icon will show the most recent notifications in a list view. The default view will be ‘ordered by time’ and will show the most recent notifications first. Users can click a notification to be taken to the relevant page.
Users can choose to view notifications ‘ordered by time’ (most recent first) or ‘grouped by category’ using the options at the top of the notification list. When grouped by category, notifications will be shown with the most recent first within each category.
Each notification is accompanied by an icon relating to the area of the site/category to which it relates (for example baskets or user management). Each notification will contain the following information:
New notifications (counted within the circle on the notification icon) have the status ‘new’. This is signified by a grey background. Once the notification has been opened, revealing the notification to the user, the status is changed to ‘seen’. This is signified by a change in background state to white.
